Fish deformities report release years away, say lawyers

ABC-A Queensland Government taskforce was set up last year to investigate claims mist from chemicals used on a Noosa macadamia nut farm caused fish deaths and deformities at a neighbouring hatchery. The Government says a legal dispute between the hatchery owner and the macadamia nut farmer means the taskforce’s final report will not be released until the court proceedings are complete because it could be prejudicial.
